SESSION 1: Writing with Watercolor: A Springboard to Discovering Big ART Ideas

SESSION 2: The Visual Journal in the Galleries

Look closely at the work of Robert Indiana and use the visual journal as a way to analyze and make meaning in what you are seeing. (Takes place in the exhibition.)
SESSION 3: Square Peg, Round Hole: Drawing Robert Indiana's Geometry

Robert Indiana combined geometric shapes to create perfectly symmetric compositions. Learn how to inscribe six figures into a circle using only a compass and straight edge.
SESSION 4: Old School: Exploring Vintage Typography

Learn about the multi-layer process of sign painting and experiment with real lettering quills as you explore the world of commercial art that heavily informed the work of Robert Indiana.
